The Studios

Soundhouse Studio – south east London (youth)

The studio has 2 x Apple iMac Production stations with Logic X, Ableton 10 and FL 20 DAW set-ups and equipped with huge sample packs, VSTs and Plug-ins.
We have 1 x MOTU 8-Pre audio interface and 1 x 4-ch Focusrite 818i as well as a good collection of dynamic and condenser microphones for live recordings and crisp vocal takes from the soundproofed vocal booth.

The studio has a Live Room with 1800w PA system, drums, guitars, amps, a DJ controller and microphones which is used for writing sessions, rehearsals and cyphers.

It is a professional space to record and produce tracks with the help of our team of producers, musicians, songwriters and engineers. Write and rehearse music, work on beats and instrumentals, develop production skills and spar creatively with other young artists whose output and passion is contributing to the exciting and prominent music scene hailing from South East London.

Soundhouse Studio – Westminster (Adults)

In January 2020 a new music studio was set up in King George hostel, Westminster.

Focusing on adults, there is a wide range of activities available such as songwriting sessions, recording sessions, spoken word, music tuition and there is also a vinyl DJ set up!

The studio comprises of an iMac with Logic Pro x, motu 8 channel audio interface, Adam studio monitors, Audio Technica condenser microphone and an array of musical instruments including electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, keyboard and electric drum kit.

The King George studio is excited to be working alongside the Joe Strummer Foundation, who will be providing assistance with studio sessions, tuition and promotion.

Mobile Sessions bring the Studio to you by bringing the equipment and producers to spaces all over London. With advancements in technology, a portable studio set-up has never been easier and has become a prominent method of music production, even in professional circles. It is ideal for recording people with limited experience, blowing off the doors and opening up the world of music production to a new generation of artists.
